So my dad came to town to attend the UNC vs U of A matchup of the century.
It was at the palacial Dean E. Smith Center.
21,750 fans were present and accounted for.
The Tar Heels dominated almost from the openining tip. Tyler Hansbrough recorded 21 points and 10 rebounds despite being double and triple-teamed throughout the game. Wes Miller connected with four three-pointers en route to 14 points, Reyshawn Terry threw down a ridiculous one-handed dunk from about the three-point line for two of his 13 points, and Danny Green was elected SWAT team captain, blocking a layup, a three-point attempt, and a dunk (in addition to scoring 13).
My dad took it surprisingly well.
He flew out on Sunday morning, so after eggs benedict at the Carolina Coffee shop, I was left to my own devices. I decided to take some pictures of the Hill in wintertime.
This is a picture of just one step in the ticket distribution process. This particular distribution is solely for the Duke game.
As you can see, seniors have top priority.
Finally, I shall leave you with this. After 6 months of totally uncompensated work, my incomparable mother finshed my sweater. She is my undisputed favorite person in the world right now.
