Afghanada

I'm in episode 3 of Afghanada, and it's pretty bad. Some of the Canadian accents are so charicatured that the characters sound like Bob and Doug Mackenzie and not real people. And too much of the plot is driven forward by the characters' stupidity.

So far the best radio I've heard by far is Hitchhiker's Guide and Cabin Pressure, and Cabin Pressure is the only one that manages to avoid narration. I think I will listen to more of it, even though it's a comedy, just to try to see how they get away with that (also because I really enjoy it). Something was wrong with the "Fitton" that I downloaded, so I only got to hear the first six minutes! :(

But I should find at least a couple more radio dramas to try.

narration, afghanada, radio, cbc, radio drama, hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, bbc, cabin pressure, radio comedy
