Four day week, this one - and even then, one of those days I'm out all day on a training course. Friday, of course, sees me taking the day off, to catch the 10.20am showing of GoF with
s00: since the film's a 12A, we couldn't take The Cub to see it without first having checked it out beforehand, which meant that if we didn't go during the day on Friday, we'd have to wait until Sunday to watch it. Which, obviously, would've been out of the question. So Friday morning it is.
Yesterday, Mali and I took The Cub back up to the farm, and had a walk 'round the village, before ex plied me with coffee as we sat in the garden. It was unbelievably mild for mid-November, seriously. Then, after coffee, the three of us (me, ex, The Cub) took Mali and ex's in-laws' dog, Billy, out for a second walk along the permissive footpaths that border her hubby's fields. Since it was muddy, I ended up borrowing a pair of his wellies for the duration, so now know that his feet are fractionally smaller than mine.
Anyway, that was a pretty good walk, although because everything was new Mali pulled like a train all the way round. Still, this did have the result that he was pretty flaked the rest of the day.
I finally caught West Wing 7x07 (yup, on the day that you lot Stateside got to see 7x08), and thought it was pretty good. I'm really enjoying Season 7 so far, although a little more Jed wouldn't hurt every now and again... Also, I'm hoping that we can catch up with Toby at some point, too.
