I leave in four days for Hong Kong. Less than four days, actually. My first flight leaves at 7:10am on Sunday. This means that I need to be at the airport at 5:10am. Fortunately, we are flying out of the South Bend airport. This means that I have to leave my house at 4:40am. That’s better than leaving at 3:30am which is the time I would have to leave if we were flying out of Chicago!

This week I have classes. I also have to write one ten page paper, two five page papers, and do a group presentation that is supposed to last 45 minutes to one hour. The presentation has to be given next week. The papers are due one week after we return. In addition, I have a ton of reading to do for both my classes. I also have to work with a group to present a chapter every day this week, and I’m the one who is taking everyone’s notes and shining them up in a PowerPoint presentation. I also have a daily journal entry (minimum of two double-spaced pages) for each day of classes and each day in China. Finally, I have to make enough potato salad for 16 people on Friday! I’m trying not to freak out. If I have to I can do the papers the week after we return. I need to have the presentation research finished and at least on my computer before we fly out on Sunday. Ideally, I would like to have the presentation ready to go before we leave, but that might not happen. It’s going to kind of depend on my group members. However, I can at least have my part finished and the skeleton of the PowerPoint created.

I also want to have my house cleaned and organized before I leave. Plus, it’s Mother’s Day on Sunday, and I think we will probably end up doing something on Saturday for that. I’m not positive, though. John’s check this week is pathetic (as usual). Once we get into the checks for the run he’s doing now it should get better.

Oh, and I have to get the DHS paperwork in for the healthcare stuff. Argh! I have way too much to do!

Just to make things even more fun, I also have laundry in the dryer and washer. The stuff in the dryer needs to be run through again, and the stuff in the washer is wet. The problem is, the dryer is refusing to turn on!

And I have a poem to write and make into a pretty piece for an auction that was done last year (yeah, I suck)!

I guess we'll see how much I get done before I leave!
