Is it really worth it to hope for anything else than for what we are assured? Should we hope for dreams, or pursue them in desperation that they may not happen? Why hope for anything other than the only real thing worth hoping for?

I'm not trying to make a point. Just asking ...

I think I am tired of being disappointed when I know I won't be disappointed in the end.
