I've been finding 2 year olds extremely frustrating lately. Nolan's constantly doing the exact opposite of what I ask. He fights to get his diaper changed, and I never though I would have to worry about people doing such illogical acts as throwing shoes at windows.
But he is cute. And it's been fun the last couple days to watch him suddenly start doing creative play. I mean, he's done a little for a while, but today he looked at a couple shadows on the wall and said they looked like hands, then there was some whole big story about "him" the chicken.
Rory's good. She sleeps a lot, which is a nice change. She still isn't opening her eyes frequently, but she's spending more time looking around when they are open.
I totally missed a thanksgiving post yesterday. I've never done one before, so maybe I didn't miss a thing. But Aubrey's post got me thinking about "first world" and "third world" problems (thanks to Katherine as well for the paradigm).
I'm thankful to have a healthy family in a great country and to being well enough for our selves such that our most immediate concern is that we don't have a bedroom for everyone. Or that a seat in our second car needs fixed.
We certainly are blessed.
