Violated
Our house was broken into again. Last time was about 6 years ago. Missing = my laptop, digital camera, and all of my firearms. Not missing = credit cards that were sitting in the open, checkbook, new MacBook that was sitting on the kitchen counter, desktop, gaming systems, or TV. Just my stuff. The police officer said it looks like it was someone who knew me and knew where I kept all my stuff. The contents of my closet shelves were spread all over the bed and the mattress was partially flipped. Clothes are everywhere. Liquor cabinet was open, but it doesn't look like anything is missing. The front door is trashed, but the irreplaceable trim came off in one piece, so thank goodness for that. It's secured and I'll replace it this weekend. Painting it's going to be a pain - I'm out of that color. I hate hanging doors.
