1) I've just rewatched Cabin Fever, and been reminded of why it's one of my favourite horror movies. It knows exactly what it is, doesn't try to be too clever or edgy, it's just a straightforward trapped-in-the-woods horror with plenty of gore, plenty of shocks and just the right amount of humour. It's a perfect example of how to make an entertaining yet disturbing film. Nine thumbs up.
2) I'm currently downloading the first episode of Code Geass. Has anyone seen it, and is it as rampantly homoerotic as the blurbs have led me to believe, or am I expecting too much?
3) OMG TSUBASA 140. *dies*
4) OMG SUPERNATURAL 2x12. "WE ARE SO SCREWED." *dies again*
5) The boy is away in London on a "lads' weekend", which I presume will involve him and his friends getting ridiculously drunk and discussing bosoms, although I was quite bemused to see that their itinerary involves visits to not one but two museums. So instead of sleeping, tonight I shall mostly be writing; my major concern is to complete the Suzie/Owen/Tosh thing I've been attempting to finish for weeks (just a love triangle, alas, not a threesome) but no doubt I shall be distracted by other things. Expect incoherent caffeine-slurred updates later.
6) Speaking of caffeine, I love Jolt cola. Very few places in this city stock it, and one of them happens to be around the corner from me, which makes me disproportionately happy. I'm not sure it should be legal to put that much caffeine in a carbonated beverage, but I'm glad that it is.
