while chaos surrounds us.
i try fighting away the demons,
with all the strength i can muster.
i hold you so close.
while they pull you away.
but no force,
neither heaven nor hell.
can take you away.

I made a bargain with the devil.
that before i fell,
you would be safe
from the clutches of hell.
I traded my soul
to save you from the fire.

So now here i go.
been blinded by my own blood.
the sword is slipping from my hands.
losing the strength to fight.
but at least when you die.
you'll be seeing the light of the holy lands.
