A Quick Update.
Well, the past few days it has been HOT here. Not hot as in abnormal temps for August in NC... hot as in its August in NC and our a/c went out for the second time in 2 months! This time they found a huge leak that was not repairable. It will cost us over $1000 to have a/c again. If we didn't have a 6 month old monkey I'd say "fo-get that shizz, we can do without it!" But, we do have a 6 month old monkey and she gets very cranky when she is warm. We let her nap under the fan in the living room today and she slept so nice. I let her play with a cold wet washcloth with an ice cube inside, and then we took a "pool" temp bath that she loved.
So, the a/c gods are supposed to come by tomorrow and replace, mend, and make the a/c the way it was when we moved in 3 years ago. I'm sleepin downstairs tonight as our bedroom is approximately 1092 degrees. Lana woke up for Conan tonight. I suspect because she was hot and sweaty. She had turned herself around in her crib and when I went to get her she was so sweaty. I brought her downstairs and we watched Conan under the fan. Lucky for us, Conan sang his lullibies for the parents with babies that are up ><
A late happy bifday to the one and only Stephanie Lynn Hryshchyshyn. She is now 20. I asked dad today "So, Steph is 20, when is she going to have a growth spurt?" >< She'll kick me for that later, but there's nothing wrong with her being so short, its just like she never "grew up."
Lana's being cranky. :( I thought she was sleepin :( I'm tired, I hope she falls asleep. Anyhoodle, here's a picture of Lana at subway:
