*a bored*
Well, I'm back in Ft. Lauderdale. I get freakin bored, but at least I have the TV, computer and Chloe. I only get really bored when there is no one to talk to. I don't really have much to update, I'm just bored.
Sunday we drove here, it felt really fast. But luckily I get to fly back :D Mike better not forget to pick me up >:O lol. I like to tease him about that. Chloe was good in the car. We stopped at Arby's for lunch/dinner and Chloe was licking the top of my rootbeer and went CRAZY over it. I put the straw in and she continued to lick around the straw. She was so desperate to get at the rootbeer that she was bitting the middle of my straw and actually ripped the lid trying to take it off the cup. She also loved my curly fries. We got to Ft. Lahdeedah around 9:30. We had to stay in my mom's regular hotel for one night, Chloe's first hotel stay. She was so confused, she also didn't like when they slipped the bill under the door in the morning, I think it startled her.
Monday we had to check out at noon. We couldn't check into my mom's apartment until 4 so we had to drive around. We found the place mom is going to stay after here. Its in the Preston of Ft. Lauderdale, Weston. Weston has its own fancy hospital and everything. Its a townhome complex called Gables San Michele. Its made to look like a European town. Mike would really like it. Its very very spanish looking. The floor plan mom is looking at is like 2,100sqft. It looks so nice. Then we went to get some lunch at Too Jay's. I had the biggest sandwich EVER. OMG so much meat. We sat outside in the shade so Chloe didn't have to stay in the car. The people in Too Jay's gave us a huge cup of water for Chloe and a little bowl. There is a puppy shop two stores down from Too Jay's so mom and I went and played with the puppies (they had a pug!!!). The Pug and the Pomeranian were in the window so I walked Chloe up there to see them. She loved the little pug. The pug kept licking the glass and trying to dig his way out of his crate. So cute ^.^ Chloe kept wanting to go down there and play. She also met 3 human babies. She was so excited to see them! A mom put down the oldest one (prolly around a year old) on the groud but Chloe didn't go up to her until the mom pet Chloe. :) So then we came and checked into the apartment. Its very nice, big washroom, large tub, huge walk-in closet. Hopefully the house in Raleigh sells fast though, we don't want to be in here at Christmas. The sofa bed is definitely big enough for me and Mike and there is room for Steph. There is only one bathroom though, and mom has a 4 place setting of dishes. She also has no pans, just pots. Pots with plastic handles so you can't put them in the oven. Mom went to take us to the Roasted Pepper for dinner but it was closed so we went to Max's Grill (SO GOOD!). I had the maple and ginger glazed salmon, I still have most of it left, tee hee.
On Tuesday mom worked half a day. Dad did some stuff around here. I drank a lot of coffee and STILL took a nap. Mom took us to Legal Seafoods in Sawgrass for lunch. I had the wrap of the day with chowder. Was good, once again only ate less than half of it. We went to find mom a modem and keyboard after that. I found a little pocket digicam for $22 and I was telling dad about them THAT day so we got it ^.^ Its awesome, I've been using it lots. We got mom a modem and keyboard and went back home. Dad put in the modem and I loaded AOL, mom decided that she wanted to keep AOL after the 45 day trial so we put in her credit card info. We took dad to the airport and such and stopped by the store on the way home.
Yesterday I sat around until mom got home at 5:15. I did do some laundry, dishes, made mom's bed, put away my bedding and took a shower, but mostly I sat here at the computer. :) I made a picture album on AOL which took a long time because of the dial-up. Oh, I also trimmed some of Chloe's hair but she didn't like it much. When mom came home she checked her 220 pieces of spam in her email. I talked to Mike after his nap, and then we went to go to Uncle Lui's for dinner with Jim. We got to Uncle Lui's first and it was closed (remember the roasted pepper?), so we went to a place called Uncle Al's (Jim must like Uncles.). It was a bar so mom had a date with Jack, I had a date with a lot of water :) I ordered curly fries so I could have them for lunch and share them with chloe. We came home after that and mom went straight to bed. I was online until I went to bed at midnight. I slept well except for mom getting up and then Chloe crying to go out. So I got up and took her out (chloe, not mom) and now she is sleeping on my bed (once again, chloe, not mom).
Today mom and I are going to scope out some Italian for dinner, but until then I have 9 hours of being bored. And a little tired too, I'll prolly take a nap. So yah. We have no plans for tomorrow or saturday yet. I come home around 10pm on Saturday and I will sleep allday on Sunday :) yay. Okie, dats it, lol. That's a lot for not having much to update on. :)
