What to do!
So I'm supposed to meet someone from myspace today, this guy: him Anywho, we're supposed to meet at Jamba, but I still don't know if I want to. It's just so weird to me, you know? And I've always been against it. But at the same time, I'm not meeting this one to date or anything, we just happen to have a lot in common. Dude! He likes Disney movies! lol Although he was a little hesitant to admit it, he does own Finding Nemo and The Lion King. Yay! Like I said before, he seems harmless, so I might as well. Yeah, I think I will.
No work today!! In spite of the fact that it's a major holiday for the outlets, I'm not scheduled to work because, well, they can't afford to pay me for it. I'll get 5 hr. holiday pay, but extra time would be overtime. Eh, I don't need the money, it's not like I have bills to pay.
I've been researching careers in child care recently, and I'm torn between two of them. One was my original choice, a preschool teacher. The only problem is that they're paid fairly low and rarely get benefits. The other is a social worker, because I could really make a difference by helping families who need assistance. Although they are paid well with benefits, they sometimes have to go beyond the call of duty and work on days/nights off. It seems rewarding, but I couldn't have a job with that with a family of my own. Ugh, it's a tough decision.
