zombie apocalypse, sterek
i swear i bookmarked it on ao3, but now i can’t find it and i’d really appreciate any help in finding it.
it’s a canon divergence fic starting after the apocalypse has begun from stiles’ pov. he’s was away at college during the break out, and is now hiding in an apartment with 2 college-friends (who are a couple). they decide to escape to get away from the city, which is basically overrun with zombies at this point, and get to beacon hills. during the escape, one guy dies, and stiles and the other friend get away. they manage to get to beacon hills, but find it abandoned. stiles’ second friend is attacked by zombies and dies, and stiles’ almost follows when he is rescued by the pack, who have been in hiding.
in the story they get stalked by an “evolved” zombie at one point and the pack plans to leave to get to some sort of refuge camp with survivors quite a bit further away. derek and stiles become a couple during the fic, and (SPOILERS), sheriff stilinski dies around the middle of the fic while stiles dies at the end, blowing up the hale house to give the rest of the pack a chance to get away (additionally he is also bitten and infected).
