1. Stiles is a hunter sent to spy on the Hale pack. Its later revealed that Stiles was Dereks mate and hunters pretended to kill him but really kept him alive and erased his memories hoping that they could get him to kill his pack. I remember stiles having a huge back tattoo and everytime its damaged he regains a memory.
2. Stiles and Derek were mates and friends at a young age. Stiles was Dereks only friend and because Stiles was younger than him his peers would make fun off him so Laura erased Dereks memories/feelings for Stiles leading to Derek to start dating Kate and her causing the Hale fire. Stiles finds this out years later while visiting BH and tries to get Derek to remember him. I remember Stiles gave derek a stuff animal when he was younger and fir some reason Derek kept it through the years
