stiles doesn't know about werewolves

Hello everybody i really need help finding this one story i read before i believe it was in AO3 but i could be wrong. I remember that it was a Sterek story but it wasn't the main point in the story it began I believe where stiles didn't know werewolves were real but the sheriff did and he told the pack to not tell stiles so he never got to meet them only Scott started leaving him to hang out more with the pack and stiles felt abandoned I'm pretty sure that some type of supernatural creature was doing something to stiles so i believe he maybe died for a short time like drowned i think in a lake. the summary of the story i think was stiles on the phones with Scott and he was saying he needed to see Scott but Scott told him he was busy except stiles was standing in some room looking at him from a window where he saw Scott hang up and go with Issac and the rest of the pack leaving and their was this shadow behind him talking to him I'm not sure. That's all i can remember can anybody please help me I've been looking for this story for close to a year! or months...Please Help!!!!
