Rough Drafts are Officially Due Today and How Artist Claims will Work
Hi everyone! It's Wednesday 13th (at least it is where I live, it might still be the 12th where some of you guys are ^^) and today's the deadline to turn in your rough drafts. I already got a few and I must say I'm very excited about what I've seen so far! :)
Now I know a few people are a bit pressed for time, and since I myself missed some check-in deadlines, I fugured I could sort of give a few time expensions if needed. The thing is, I have to have everyone's rough drafts by the time the Art Claims go up for preview on Saturday, which will be at around 3pm EST/7pm GMT. I also need to know which fandoms will be present so that I can post a reminder to the bigbangindex and maybe a few comms about Artist Sign-Ups, so here's how it'll go:
I'd still really prefer to get your drafts today, but if you can't make it but are certain that you'll have it ready by Saturday 3pm EST/7pm GMT, please contact me either via e-mail or PM to let me know where you are in your writing and what your fandom is. Remember, the rough draft doesn't have to be perfect and can still have a few scenes only outined, it does however have to be 10'000 words long and have a clear beginning, middle and end.
Artists! Your time is almost here. :P Art Claims will go up for preview on Saturday at around 3pm EST/7pm GMT. The post will be locked to the community members, so make sure you are one! Comments will be locked for one day and will be unlocked on Sunday at 1pm EST/5pm GMT (a post will go up on the comm to let you know the claims have started). It'll be on a first come, first served basis. If you're afraid you can't make it on time, you're allowed to have someone claim for you as a proxy. Depending on how many stories we end up getting in the end and how many artists, there might be a second round of claims until every story has an artist.
Artists Sign-Ups officially close on the 16th, however they'll actually be open until the very last minute the art claims start on the 17th. A post will go up early next week for pinch-hitters sign-ups.
