This year we have 17 amazing stories up for claims this year! Below is information and how to claim and our wonderful summaries. Please read them carefully while making your selections.
INFORMATION ABOUT CLAIMS
- Each story can only be claimed once for art. Once its claimed it will be marked off the list.
- Artists can only claim one story. If after 48 hours we still have stories unclaimed artists will be allowed to claim a second story out of those left.
- Once an artist claims a story and is confirmed as getting it by a mod the author can contact them and start working together.

Title: Learning to Forgive

Summary: Derek's family is only alive because of the guilty conscience of his Chemistry teacher. He doesn't think he can ever forgive himself for putting them all in danger, even if they all think he's foolish to blame himself. His mother and Alpha pushes him to volunteer as a means to redeem himself, but Derek doesn't see how working with kids can really make up for what he's done. Still, it does feel good to give back, and he thinks that maybe he can one day forgive himself, unless the past comes back to haunt him.

Summary: In a world where Betas have become the norm, but Alphas are still the leaders, the wealthy, the powerful, Omegas are very rare and the only ones who can birth or sire Alphas with other Alphas. Born to two Betas, raised as a Beta, of course Stiles presents as an Omega on his sixteenth birthday because his life sucks that way. One month later is his ceremony where technically he chooses an Alpha as his mate for the rest of their lives, and Stiles is given three options. One isn't ever going to happen, a second doesn't really want him, so he chooses the third--a man twice his age, scarred and just out of a six year coma. Scared, because he has very few rights and this stranger can do anything to him, control any aspect of his life, and Stiles isn't a stereotypical submissive Omega happy to be home ironing shirts and suckling babies, he's surprised to find that Peter isn't a stereotype either (for one, he's a damn good cook). Is it possible that his life won't suck that much after all?
The fic covers only about the first week of their life together plus an epilogue set in the future. It's angsty in places but also kind of light, and has a happy or at least hopeful ending. I've listed dubcon but this is only because Stiles has no real choice in the matter. Omegas have to choose an Alpha or one is chosen for them. Peter's actually pretty decent to him and likes that he has Beta tendencies. In my world, male Omegas have developed female genitals but their male ones are completely functional. Alpha females who mate with male Omegas bear the children but Omega males can as well. There's no self-lubricating, no heat, no compulsion to be with an Alpha. It's purely a biological need to create Alpha children that bring Omegas and Alphas together.

Isaac is a screw-up with a tragic that's given his shot to take on more responsibility at his boss and former guardian Derek Hale's music store. But he blows it when he runs off with the store's cash and blows it gambling. Now Derek doesn't know what to do or how to come up with the money. All of this when he also has to deal with the annoyance of the arrival of former local boy turned superstar Jackson Whittermore taking over the store.
Subplots include Scott want to win back ex-girlfriend Allison, all the while being oblivious to Isaac's feelings for him. Allison is feeling the pressure of having to be the perfect daughter for her parents and decides she wants to lose her virginity to old crush Jackson. Lydia has the smarts, but is worried that her family's checkered history in Beacon Hills will keep her from living the life she wants. Erica shaves her head and won't tell anyone why - also there are mysterious bandages around her wrists. Plus, Stiles has a crush on Derek and wants to prove to Derek, and everyone else, he has what it takes to start his own band.
Visuals include: Erica shaving her head and being surrounded by her old hair while staring into a mirror. Scott is an artist that sometimes does funky drawings. He did a beautiful portrait of Isaac that Isaac secretly carries around all the time. The colorful store filled with eccentric costumers.

Summary: (very rough outline summary)
It's the end of senior year, and Lydia has a decision to make. Go to her dream school on the east coast, or stay in California and stay with her pack. The more time she spends in Beacon Hills, the more she feels like she's drowning -- like she'll never get out, like nothing will ever get easier. That's when she hears that Derek's taking a summer trip. Going almost to Oregon seems just far enough away to get her head together and actually make a decision. While at first she and Derek have no idea what to do with one another, as Derek begins to put his family vacation home back together, and Lydia begins to relax in the absence of the metaphorical cloud looming over Beacon Hills all the time, they become closer. A hazard of living together, most likely. Over the course of the next few weeks, their relationship goes from barely acquaintances to friendship, and one moments tips it over the edge. But just as they begin exploring a romantic relationship together, they're called back to Beacon Hills to deal with a siren, and the real world sets in. Which is more important; surviving or living?

Summary: This story takes place one year after the events of Coming Home.
Stiles always knew Sasha would find her way to Beacon Hills sooner or later - and that her sense of timing would no doubt leave something to be desired. What he hadn’t anticipated was how difficult it would be to keep things civil. After all, Sasha took off and left him and their daughter. The fact that she’d never made him any promises didn't actually help matters when he thought back to the year he spent struggling to provide for Alice on his own. Despite the difficulties, he’d managed it while still holding on to his dream job, only coming back to Beacon Hills when it became clear that his daughter would need to grow up within the security of a pack.
At first, it seems like the flighty Sasha is just passing through on her constant travels. However, it soon becomes clear that she’s in trouble - and that she’s worried enough to bank on her various ties to Beacon Hills to convince Derek, as the alpha, to help her. This ends up having mixed results, and soon everyone is drawn into a web of jealousy, regret, magic, and danger.

His name is Derek, and when he awkwardly reaches out, asking Stiles to be his Dom, the urge to shield Derek from more pain is too strong for Stiles to resist. But Derek is still recovering from his past and learning how to set boundaries, so they have to take things slow.

Stiles likes college. He also likes his roommates, who are slowly turning into really good friends. They get along, they have a good time, they generally enjoy college life. The only problem is that they are supernatural creatures and think Stiles has no clue. It’s fun for a while, to mess with them, to solve their supernatural problems without them realizing it’s him. It’s fun until one of them digs too deep and gets hurt. It’s fun until Stiles needs all the help he can get to solve that supernatural problem.
Oh and anyone who said that absence makes the heart grow fonder? They can go and screw themselves because they were actually right. Stiles has never talked that often with Derek than he does while being away at college. Their phone calls keep him grounded, keep him sane. They are also the opportunity for him to rant about his stupid supernatural roommates, who actually sort of fanboy/fangirl the Hale family. So Stiles isn’t really sure about how to deal with his growing crush on a certain sourwolf and the fact that his roommates would most like try to jump Derek if they ever get to know him. Thank God, he’s in New York while Derek is safely tucked away in Beacon Hills. Right, if only Stiles hadn’t already asked Derek for help with a certain supernatural problem.

Summary:
There wasn't a lot Stiles had of his mother's. Not anymore. But he still had Anchises and Jolene. They were two of the first things he packed when he went off to university.
When he was five, newly diagnosed with ADHD and not sure why he was different, his mother had taken him to her room - not the one she shared with his dad but the other one just for her. That was when he met Jolene, old and worn but loved and the moment he plucked her strings he was lost. Music didn't make everything better but it was something only Stiles and his mum did. It was theirs. And then she died.
An AU written after Derek and Cora left at the end of Season 3A. Stiles is following the path of his mother by going to university in Nashville where he feels more connected to her and begins to play music again which throws him into the path of Derek who he hasn't seen in years.

Scott and Stiles spent all their savings to buy a ramshackle little ship and are now some of the best traders... well, smugglers in their part of the galaxy. They have direct competition with Derek Hale and his crew. Actually, Scott and Stiles are pretty sure he thinks of them as brats that followed his lead to take a ship and get the hell off their home colony.
With the galaxy on the brink of rebellion, Scott and Stiles have to decide if they're going to get involved or stay on the sidelines. Scott is badly injured on an important cargo run when they're ambushed by another rival group and Derek ends up being the one person who can save his life. Afterwards, there's an uneasy true between Scott and Stiles' ship and Derek's, so they can track down the ambushers and get their cargo back. Along the way, Stiles tries to work out the feelings for Derek everyone keeps telling him he has.
Visual Cues for artists: The story is science fiction, so the settings that go along with that. They include: a spaceport, an alien tavern, a jungle planet, a dusty run down colony and the inside of Scott and Stiles' ship. There's some battles (in space and on the ground) with lots of action. Stiles finds and adopts a primate type creature that hides in their cargo hold (described as similar to a lemur) that likes to perch on his shoulder and is present throughout most of the fic. There are werewolves in the story, and as such some moments with shifted characters.

Its the moment where he reaches to contacts from his first life in order to exact the revenge that has lay dormant for the last twenty years. Twenty years that have seen his kind dominated and reduced to second class citizens.
On a station circling a two bit mining operation on the edge of space there is a bar. The owner is intimidating as hell, but his daughter is charming as he is scary. The patrons go in and out, but there are two strays who seem to live there. They showed up one day and the owner took them in. One's a hacker and one's a wolf.
On a little space station in the middle of nowhere five people happen to be in the same place at the same time. Each has a piece of the puzzle that can undo the catastrophic Were event, the Hale fire. They just have to realize it, to want it. And be willing to go back to where it all began. Back to Beacon Hills.

Summary: There are several things Stiles Stilinski knows to be facts: he's a werecoyote like his parents; his twin sister Malia could use a filter more than him; he's an Omega and terrified of his upcoming heat; and Derek Hale-McCall will never see him as anything more than his kid brother's best friend. Doesn't stop Stiles from asking the Alpha to help him during his heat. Or from developing some serious feelings that go beyond the bedroom. Basically, he's totally screwed, in more ways than one.

While at first she and Derek have no idea what to do with one another, as Derek begins to put his family vacation home back together, and Lydia begins to relax in the absence of the metaphorical cloud looming over Beacon Hills all the time, they become closer. A hazard of living together, most likely. Over the course of the next few weeks, their relationship goes from barely acquaintances to friendship, and one moments tips it over the edge. But just as they begin exploring a romantic relationship together, they're called back to Beacon Hills to deal with a siren, and the real world sets in. Which is more important; surviving or living?

Despite the difficulties, he’d managed it while still holding on to his dream job, only coming back to Beacon Hills when it became clear that his daughter would need to grow up within the security of a pack.
At first, it seems like the flighty Sasha is just passing through on her constant travels. However, it soon becomes clear that she’s in trouble - and that she’s worried enough to bank on her various ties to Beacon Hills to convince Derek, as the alpha, to help her. This ends up having mixed results, and soon everyone is drawn into a web of jealousy, regret, magic, and danger.

It’s fun until one of them digs too deep and gets hurt. It’s fun until Stiles needs all the help he can get to solve that supernatural problem.
Oh and anyone who said that absence makes the heart grow fonder? They can go and screw themselves because they were actually right. Stiles has never talked that often with Derek than he does while being away at college. Their phone calls keep him grounded, keep him sane. They are also the opportunity for him to rant about his stupid supernatural roommates, who actually sort of fanboy/fangirl the Hale family. So Stiles isn’t really sure about how to deal with his growing crush on a certain sourwolf and the fact that his roommates would most like try to jump Derek if they ever get to know him. Thank God, he’s in New York while Derek is safely tucked away in Beacon Hills. Right, if only Stiles hadn’t already asked Derek for help with a certain supernatural problem.

That was when he met Jolene, old and worn but loved and the moment he plucked her strings he was lost. Music didn't make everything better but it was something only Stiles and his mum did. It was theirs. And then she died.
An AU written after Derek and Cora left at the end of Season 3A. Stiles is following the path of his mother by going to university in Nashville where he feels more connected to her and begins to play music again which throws him into the path of Derek who he hasn't seen in years.

Scott and Stiles spent all their savings to buy a ramshackle little ship and are now some of the best traders... well, smugglers in their part of the galaxy. They have direct competition with Derek Hale and his crew. Actually, Scott and Stiles are pretty sure he thinks of them as brats that followed his lead to take a ship and get the hell off their home colony.
With the galaxy on the brink of rebellion, Scott and Stiles have to decide if they're going to get involved or stay on the sidelines. Scott is badly injured on an important cargo run when they're ambushed by another rival group and Derek ends up being the one person who can save his life. Afterwards, there's an uneasy true between Scott and Stiles' ship and Derek's, so they can track down the ambushers and get their cargo back. Along the way, Stiles tries to work out the feelings for Derek everyone keeps telling him he has.
Visual Cues for artists: The story is science fiction, so the settings that go along with that. They include: a spaceport, an alien tavern, a jungle planet, a dusty run down colony and the inside of Scott and Stiles' ship. There's some battles (in space and on the ground) with lots of action. Stiles finds and adopts a primate type creature that hides in their cargo hold (described as similar to a lemur) that likes to perch on his shoulder and is present throughout most of the fic. There are werewolves in the story, and as such some moments with shifted characters.

The patrons go in and out, but there are two strays who seem to live there. They showed up one day and the owner took them in. One's a hacker and one's a wolf.
On a little space station in the middle of nowhere five people happen to be in the same place at the same time. Each has a piece of the puzzle that can undo the catastrophic Were event, the Hale fire. They just have to realize it, to want it. And be willing to go back to where it all began. Back to Beacon Hills.
