Derek/Stiles.
Derek becomes human (temporarily or permanent is up to the author) and finds it incredibly hard to adept. How does he cope with the loss of his werewolf senses, the inability to heal or getting the common cold (I guess his immune system is probably crap due to lack of practice) and with the loss of his complete identity?
Obviously he's going to need a lot of help .... I imagine Stiles would be the best teacher, because he's so painfully, completely, utterly human and he's still so badass and awesome.

Stiles gets bitten instead of Scott. How does that change the events in season 1? Does he still think it's cool with it happening to him rather than to Scott. How does Scott react/behave? Does Stiles even tell him, or does he try to keep him safe by keeping him out of it?

I hesitated to mention it the first time I read your prompt because I don't want to suggest that someone else shouldn't also write it, but I came back to the prompt post after signing up this morning and saw this again, so I'm going to mention a werewolf!Stiles re-write of season one fic I'm writing that you might enjoy since you like this idea,

10 Things I Hate About You AU, y/y? :D
I don't really see it following the movie plot entirely, but perhaps just being inspired by it? I mean, totally up to the author, I only request it to be Sterek (any sidepairings are fine).

Look, I just really want more school AUs and that movie is a classic for fandoms :3

Character swap!
Like, every character is essentially the same person (character-wise), except in a different role and with a completely different background.

Derek is "Scott" (raised by his big sister, is the high school boy who gets bitten)
Allison is "Derek" (a lonely, bitter werewolf who lost her family and the only one who survived the fire is her crazy aunt who is in a coma)
Lydia is "Stiles" (Derek's best friend and genius researcher who realizes her best friend turned into a werewolf)
Stiles is "Allison" (the new boy in town and his father has kept so many secrets from him!)
Jackson is "Erica" and gets a make over (and is hopelessly in love with "Stiles"!Lydia)
and so on. Feel free to exchange the other characters as you will.

I just really like this idea and would love to see a kind of re-telling of TW with obvious changes due to the fact that the characters would probably react differently.
