This is cool. In watching True Blood, you really get his writing style is quite different in terms of he has that flexibility that no other network would give screen writers. It's brilliant. All hail HBO.
I kind of love that he loves flawed, fucked up characters. Because really, aren't they the most fun to write? They are the most complex, the most interesting, and without that dynamic I'm sure any television show would be plain boring.
I haven't, for the pure fact that I'm pretty sure it'll scare the everloving fuck out of me, and I scare easily. I've heard it's great though, and lot's of sex! Haha! Tell me what you think of it, if you get around to watching it.

Absolutely! Who wants to watch something about straight up good guys or bad guys? This reminds me I have to go back to Six feet Under.
Hey have you watched American Horror Story yet? I'm intrigued. Ryan Murphy's cable stuff (well Nip Tuck) can be awesome.
