Day 08 - A show everyone should watch
Castle. Because the romance is actually well paced and central to the show, and there are realistic, adult reasons the characters resist getting together. How refreshing is that?
Day 09 - Best scene ever
That's so hard I will cheat and pick several.
This one, because the music and acting are incredibly moving (to say the least):

Which serves as a prelude to this:

And the reunion scene in The Stolen Earth which has unfortunately been yanked from youtube.
Standouts are also the Mayor's transformation scene in Graduation Day (Buffy) because that moment always gives me goosebumps, Reese and Crews touching hands in One (Life) because it was such a subtle expression of their love.
And these two scenes from The West Wing, because they are just so damn funny:

It would be easy to go on... but I will stop.
Day 10 - A show you thought you wouldn't like but ended up loving
The Vampire Diaries. YOU GUYS. I've been wasting my time on Gossip Girl and 90210 when I could have been watching this? I was put off by the utter cheese that was the very first episode, but I should have learnt by now that pilots are not a good indication of a show's overall quality. I decided to give it another crack and have since discovered that it is ADDICTIVE. And surprisingly well written, considering how embarassaingly bad said pilot was. Each episode ends with a cliffhanger which leads into the next, and I enjoy that, because I think television has become so episodic lately. I much prefer longer running arcs. The cast are all smoking hot - Ian Somerholder in particular. He never really worked for me on Lost, but I want him to do dirty things to me in this role. He's just so deliciously evil. They haven't attempted to soften him at all - I'm on episode 10 and he still does things that are completely irredeemable. As a result of my love for him, I fully expected to hate Stefan, but the actor is equally likeable, and Nina Dobrev isn't terrible, either. It's a very WB-like show and well worth watching.
