Thank you so much for reading, I'm really glad you enjoyed it! They're such a lovely, subtle paiirng and I love leaving everything implied.

It fascinated him, her affection. The way little things had fascinated him when he emerged from prison, small things other people dismissed as trivialities. They didn’t pause long enough to zero in on lurking intricacies the way he did. She held on so tight he could see the bones flexing and her skin going taut.

That? That is stunning. And this whole thing? Gorgeous; you capture the whole essence of Reese and Crews, not just as they are together but as individuals and it's brilliant, bb.

What an incredible piece - the ending especially. Bravo - beautiful fic.

For some reason this is my favorite part:

It fascinated him, her affection. The way little things had fascinated him when he emerged from prison, small things other people dismissed as trivialities.

Everything has come full circle. :)

I loved that about the finale - that everything had come full circle. Seriously amazing symmetry.

Thank you for reading!

and it reminded him of the orange grove and the dust kicking up around him; the pungent scent of green and leaves intermingling with the burn of departing tyres; heat prickling through the fabric of his suit; and knowing he was free.

I love, and you got this so well, how less is always more between them. It's about what they don't say, don't show, and then eventually what they do say and do show. Loved it.

I love how everything is implied between them. It just felt wrong to write it any other way. Thank you so much for reading.

OMG I love love love you for writing Crews/Reese. I'm not reading yet *covers eyes* but as soon as I'm done with S2 (which will be tomorrow haha) I'm coming back to read.

On a side note, I've started writing Reese fic but I'm so intimidated by how well she's written on the show I don't know I can keep up to standard. Eeep.

Hee, yay! (are you shipping them now?)

Oh I know. I shied from her and stuck with Charlie because I just don't know if I could get her down. Serious yay for a well written female character.

Hee. Yes, I am totally shipping them. Although, weirdly, I'm kind of shipping her & Tidwell too.

You got Charlie brilliantly. And Dani too, even though the focus was more his voice. The subtlety in your writing is just perfect because that's what's so amazing about them.

I'm writing Dani fic. And it's so freaking scary cos she's so amazingly written on the show but I love her so much that I have to do something with her voice, you know? So hopefully it turns out well.

I am so glad you made me watch this! I can't get over how beautiful it is. I really really hope there's a third season, but if there isn't I won't feel dissatisfied. I definitely want more but there was so much closure and so much development that if we don't get more I won't feel like there's anything they failed to address.

I totally get that. Tidwell is surpisingly likable and I think he fits with Crews and Reese better than Davis did in the first season.

Thank you, bb.

I can't wait! There is just no fic in that fandom.

I'm so glad you thought it was worth it!! I'm really pleased with the way they ended the finale - with the symmetry and the coming full circle and the way a light kind of went on for Crews and Reese concerning one another. Like the very thing they'd been searching for had been beside them all this time. It's just makes me happy inside, lol! Because it's a brilliant way to end but also a brilliant launching pad for another season. I'm kind of dying to know what they would be like after that, and what the writers would do if they had more time to craft the relationship.
