i lost a friend last night to a car accident.

The Lansdowne girl, Brittany Ellis, was off-roading with two 19-year-old men in the Stone Ridge subdivision off U.S. 50, when the 2003 Xterra they were riding in bottomed out.
"The vehicle rolled over and Ellis, a passenger in the front seat, was partially ejected," said Troxell. Ellis was killed when the truck came down on top of her
The driver of the truck, Christopher L. Leight, and a back-seat passenger were treated at the scene for minor injuries. No one was wearing a seatbelt, said Troxell.
It is not known whether Leight will be charged in this incident. The incident remains under investigation. Last year, Leight was charged and fined $164 for driving without a license.
