In my state (MI) you can apply for aid living with your parents as long as you are CLEAR that you are on your way out. Like you go to apply for rental assistance and after you are approved you go and get the apartment etc. They will check up on you here to make sure you are doing what you say.

And it's "rental assisstance"? Awesome. BTW, where in MI do you live? I think I've asked before but I don't remember.

I think thats what they call it. Rental assistance that is. I am not sure. My friend gets the whole shebang. She gets help with her rent, cash assistance, school help, daycare and foodstamps b/c she is in school.

I live in Hudsonville. Between Grand Rapids and Holland.
