(no subject)
What do you do when you see those people in the halls? The ones you know. Not well, mind you. Barely know their name. Never talked, not really...maybe a few words. But you know them. And they know you. And you both know this. But what do you do? Does having a schedule that puts you in the same class as them require you to smile a greeting? And oh, how hard can it be? A nod of the head, the small effort of bringing the corners of your mouth up ever so slightly...nothing, right? And when you think about it, has anyone ever smiled at you in the hall way and made you think, "Pshht. Why are they acknowledging me?" Not that I can remember. And yet, i still force my eyes to the ground.
This is mostly about the people in my Japanese class, if you haven't caught on. They're all so much older than me...they intimidate the crap out of me. And I'm sure they're nice people...they really seem like it. But for the life of me I can't say a simple "Hey."
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...what's the matter with me?
on a lighter note, i really really really want to see I <3 huckabees. I watched the preview online...it looks like such a funny movie. i still need to make a yahoo or hotmail email address....can't think of anything though. i can't decide if i want it to have some reference to something, like a movie or song or if it should have something to do with myself or just be complete random bullshit.
and for those of you who find it too hard to read entries more than say, a few words long but find it suitable to write pages and pages yourself, i'll summarize: Conan O'Brien is replacing Jay Leno on the Tonight Show in 2009! Yes!
