i did it. i gave in. i am weak. and now i am broke. i bought an iPod. the thirty gig. and i love it.
but i have some shame. it is a weird feeling, having the uncomfortable earbuds and the iTunes and the way all the music i could every dream of listening to fits on my iPod. i've been drooling over the mp3 players since they first came out, but i was always too chicken to take the plunge, wad of cash in hand and whatnot. however, with all new england's looming (i leave thursday) i realized that the only way i would survive the ride to connecticut would be with some help from said iPod. my carpool to the festival with the fellow MHS band geeks is socially lethal (and i won't give names, given that some of them are ok folks) but MAN i just don't have the willpower to make it sans tunes.
so i caved. so i have school again tomorrow. so i got into two colleges and it's senior spring. so fuck it. right?
