Well the baby bedding, that is.
Originally I had chosen this Banana Fish bedding pattern:
My decorators and I had even picked out a complementary fabric for the
Katama glider I planned to order for the nursery:
But then I fell in love with the colors in this Glenna Jean bedding called Soho:

Everyone knows how much I love brights, as evidenced by my recent shoe purchase. These bright colors are so much more inviting to me. The weird thing about my chosing this bedding is that normally I hate orange!
Yet, somehow with this set, it works. I’m so thrilled by thinking of our peanut snuggling up in this pretty bed. (And yes I know that the bumpers, pillows, bears, and blanket all come out when the baby goes in.)
The decorators are coming up with some yummy new suggestions for this new color scheme very soon. Now if I could just find that little polka dot lamp, I’d be cool.
I’ve spent much of the weekend getting my baby registries up to snuff. I say registries simply because one place doesn’t seem to carry all the items I’d like to have. So now I am registered at Babies R Us,
Baby Universe,
Posh Tots, and for the things that are at no one store, I’ve created a registry at
FindGift. Gosh, now I sound greedy. If Babies R Us carried everything, I would have been set, but you know how it goes…
Posh Tots has the cool diaper bags that I’ve falled in love with:
I spoke to Josie this weekend. She’s having a few more contractions than before, especially at the top of her uterus. Looks like it won’t be long now. Yikes!
Now I’ve got to go fold the onesies I’ve purchase for the peanut during our time in Delaware. Washed in Dreft, of course.
