everyday reminders
Last week, I accidentally downloaded this song.
When I heard it, and really listened to the lyrics, I was choked. I know that this is all very me - corny and sappy - but I got this strange, yet comforting feeling when I heard this song. I don't know why, but that's the only way I can describe it - it moved me, and it spoke to me. It is my pick-me up song.
I consider myself a Christian. I go to church most Sundays. I teach sunday school once a month. I listen to Christian music sometimes. I wear a cross around my neck. I pray every night.
However, I also don't believe that makes me a better Christian than those who don't practice, but still believe. Everyone is spiritual in their own ways, and I guess the above ways are just mine.
And besides, I have been known to engage in some not-so-Christian activities every now and then. So I guess in that way...I balance myself out. =)
Who knows...maybe it wasn't an accident after all.
