Here there be dragons.
I was stuck on this topic so I decided to ask the one person in my life who still believes he knows everything. My kid.
Me: “Hey Matt, what do you think about dragons?”
Matt(who is six), “I like dragons, I am not scared of them. I am not scared of anything." He says to me smiling his cute grin.
Me: “Why aren’t you scared of anything?”
Matt: “Because I have you mommy and you will save me even from dragons.”
To have that much faith is amazing. He believes in dragons, fairys and that the Island of Sodor really exists that he can go visit. But the most important thing is that he believes I can “save” him from his dragons. I may not always be this awesome, but at least today I am Mommy, the super hero of his world.
