Have you ever seen the movie (or read about ) Boondock Saints? Similar premise...and it even brings up the question is killing bad guys ok or does it make them just as evil as those they kill? Interesting question...

Yeah, I'm not really crazy about all these TV shows & movies starring people who are doing seriously questionable stuff. :/

I've never seen Dexter but it sure does sound interesting!

I've heard of Dexter but never enough to get the idea of it. You have some very valid points here. I think a lot of tv is based on what we'd like to do but know we shouldn't, a form of escapism.
