SO its finally happening and Lonnie and I are planning our trip to Europe for the summer. I don't know if any of you fags have been there or not, but I need advice. Any info you got. So far we only have this
- travel with student flight discounts through ISIC
- take overnight trains to reduce costs of hostels and travel time
- visiting the following in 6 weeks
•fly into London
•London to Amsterdam (also seeing a hardcore fest in Amsterdam)
•Amsterdam to Germany (seeing the World Cup Jun 30, also trying
to see when Wacken and Grasspop are)
•Amsterdam to Belgium or France (might do Belgium first, then
France)
•France to Italy
•Fly out of Italy
•Going to Switzerland maybe as well
•wanna visit the Alps
- maybe get a sidekick with data only (29.99 a month for a year) to cut down on international phone charges and make me feel more secure (I'm a wuss when it comes to leaving all my technology at home)
- get a eurail selectpass to travel between countries.
- stay in hostels with youth and student discount
