I have to write about this because it took me by complete surprise and that rarely happens.
About a month ago, when I was sick with tonsillitis, I had to wake up at about 8am on a Saturday to go see the doctor. No one is awake that early on a Saturday in Denton. Mike drove me to the doctor, and waited with me until it was all done. Afterwards we had breakfast at The Cupboard, and I went around checking out all the expensive natural lotions, and soaps they have. I found a whole bunch of them, and I made him smell some of them. There was this one skin care company called Kiss my Face that made really good soaps and lotions but they were just too expensive. They were made with Alpha Hydroxy Acids that are only found in fruits and sugar cane. We didn't buy them, and went somewhere else. It was starting to get cold then, and my skin was dry so I got some cheap raspberry lotion at wal-mart that night. I set it right by the sink, and I've been using it since then on my elbows and hands before I go to bed. So anyway, yesterday I went to put some on my hands and it had been replaced. Mike went out while I was at work, found the Kiss My Face lotion that smells like real peaches, bought it, and put the new one there instead. For a second I didn't know what was going on.
I'm just really impressed with him; I didn't even think he was listening to me while I was giving him my spiel about how great all that stuff was.
