The Waterloo Trip

Apr 17, 2006 03:48

Last weekend (Friday April 07 - Saturday April 08).

My exgirlfriend and her friend wanted to go to University of Waterloo for the weekend. He (my ex's friend) was going to visit his girlfriend who goes to that school. They started going out since high school. I can't believe they're still holding on strong. Hey, I thought long distant ( Read more... )

Wow, I actually read all of that. I'm not sure what to comment on. Hmm, sushi is wonderful?

Perhaps your green eyed friend SECRETLY LOVES YOU. I mean, you said that he found your journal URL or saw something secret and he was fine with it, right? But I'm sure I'm just being silly.

Yeah, struggling with sexuality is stupid and tough! I think that a true lover of beauty will not limit it to male or female. Which reminds me of a little story. Yesterday, I stayed in Boston with my friend Andrew at his uncle's house. I mean, Andrew isn't what I'd call "HOT", but I've always found him attractive. So anyway, we had to sleep in a double bed together. I've never slept in the same bed as anyone else (well, I used to sleep in mom's bed when I was little, but that doesn't count), and it was painful to not even being able to cuddle with the person who was right next to me in bed. (Andrew also seems somewhat nebulous as far as sexuality goes.) I'm still a little sad about it. I'd love to have a close friend like that as a significant other. Hmm. Sorry for the digression! The point is this: sexuality is a farce.

hey adam,
I can't believe you read all that. Even I wouldn't read such a long entry.

You're not the first person who actually said that about him.
But I can assure you our friendship is all platonic. When I told my brown-eyed friend about stuggles with my sexuality, she asked me if I would say "yes" if he ever asks me out (the three of us are really close friends). Haha, and I said no. My point here is not to put him down. He's good-looking, has a nice personality, great with people, and he's a good person overall. I actually thought he was one of those PERFECT human beings for the first few weeks I met him. But I can never see him as a significant other. He's just a close friend of mine.

Too bad nothing happened between you and your friend Andrew that night [hehehe ;) ]... I swear when I was reading that part I thought it would lead to something those slash fan fic writers write.

And yes.. I agree with the whole sexuality thing being stupid and tough.
I just hope I get to resolve mine before I get any older >_

That's funny! I also thought "If something happened, this would make an interesting slash story." Arg, we were just on the phone rating Tucker Max's attractiveness on a scale of 1-10; how does he not like guys? I don't know.

I can't help but think Napoleon Bonaparte when I hear Waterloo...
