I'll stop with the yoink thing now.
1. Who was your FIRST prom date?
I never had a prom (formal, as it's known in Australia) date. I am a sad little loser, yes.
2. Do you still talk to your FIRST love?
Err, requited or not? Unrequited, no, because I was, like six. Requited, well I do occasionally fb the person who came closest to being a requited love.
3. What was your FIRST alcoholic drink?
Red wine, most probably of Australian vintage.
4. What was your FIRST job?
Catalogue distributing, but the first one I really count is hostess/food runner at the outback steakhouse.
5. What was your FIRST car?
My grandpa's holden (general motors, vauxhall) city, or whatever it's called. We just called him Bertie Beetle.
6. Who was the FIRST person to text you today?
Anna. It's either her or dad most of the time.
7. Who is the FIRST person you talked to this morning?
Adam. We engaged in a few minutes of simultaneous cereal-eating before I left.
8. Who was your FIRST grade teacher?
Mrs. Clewett. I quite liked her, but she was strictish.
9. Where did you go on your FIRST ride on an airplane?
*coughitsaeroplanecough* erm, I believe I was two or three. When we went to Chile in 92.
10. Who was your FIRST best friend & do you still talk?
Keiralea, kindy to halfway through year 1, I think. We didn't for ages, but I'll occasionally drop her a facebook line. She's getting married.
11. Where was your FIRST sleep over?
Ooh, hmm... I think it was with Andrea Hooper...or was it Amanda? I think it was Andrea. We were incredibly close for a good while. Her mum taught at my school. Sorry, I digress. I was about 6 or 7, I think. We were friends until I moved when I was... 8?
12. Whose wedding were you in the FIRST time?
I've never been in a wedding.
13. What was the FIRST thing you did this morning?
Rang the uni health service to acquire more happy pills.
14. What was the FIRST concert you ever went to?
Hmmm, in terms of non-kids-group concerts (I saw the Wiggles, see. It was awesome), erm... Evanescence, maybe? I'm not big on concerts.
15. FIRST tattoo?
ONLY tattoo. A rose with tiny dragonfly just above my right ankle. Like luvscharlie, i might get another in 83 million or so years time when i finally reach my goal weight because my body just can't fight my extreme want anymore.
16. FIRST piercing?
My ears at age 8(?). I was in Year 3, about to go to cricket practice.
17. FIRST foreign country you went to
You've never been to a foreign country, luvscharlie? Mine was Chile, but the first that actually bears any significance to me would be Japan, at 16.
18. FIRST movie you remember seeing
The Lion King. How I cried when Mufasa died.
19. When was your FIRST detention?
In Year 2. I swore at some other child, thus disobeying a teacher's command to apologise for some other thing I'd done, run on the concrete, and possibly neglected to wear a hat. My rebellion blows even me away sometimes.
20. Who was your FIRST roommate?
The first five, you mean? Last year, with Rebecca, Evi, Fleur, Charlotte, and to some extent Mathy.
21. If you had one wish. What would it be?
Not sure. I'd say to get firsts this year, but I think I might be able to manage that without needing to wish for it. I think I'd instead wish to be beautiful. A childish wish, perhaps, but I've never been remotely desirable and it would be nice to be, for once.
22. What is something you would learn if you had the chance?
To dance. Sadly doing so would involve me not looking like a female michelin man, going to a dance class, engaging in conversation with an incredibly beautiful teacher, and participating in classes with equally beautiful people who deserve to learn something as nice as dancing. Yes, I do hate being ugly. Thanks for asking.
23. Did you marry the FIRST person to ask for your hand in marriage?
Well, I probably will marry the first person that asks me. I see myself as the 'one love' type.
24. What was the FIRST sport that you were involved in?
Soccer. Team sport, that is. Had some tap lessons before then, I believe.
25. What were the FIRST lessons you ever took?
Those tap lessons, followed by piano. And can I just say that my brothers didn't have to learn the piano? And that that kind of rankles, although I wish I'd kept going with the piano all the same.
