anyway, i think most people view themselves as unattractive, and i found that when i would constantly lament about how tragically ugly i am i'd feel like an utter tosspot afterwards (like one of the women on Loose Women, this daytime TV show in the UK, who'd be all "i don't think I'm attractive but I work with what I've got" and I'm there yelling at the screen "you're fucking gorgeous, and even if you weren't i'd still hate you!"), so now i mostly try to avoid doing it. it serves me no favours, and it leaves me feeling sorry for myself and right now the last thing I want to do is feel sorry for myself.
i worked at an outback in sydney for a year and 9 months. their sirloins, i've heard, are great, but i never eat steak unless it's served for dinner at home. which is kind of weird because i quite like steak. anyway, we used to love it and go all the time, although in terms of Outbacks in countries other than Australia, the most Australian thing about them is us when we walk in.
