I cannot believe how knackered I am. This is hardly the most strenuous lifestyle, and yet somehow I'm totally buggered.
I suppose not being able to get to sleep until about 3:30 in the morning wouldn't have helped with that, but I totally got a decent night's sleep after that, waking up at 11:30 and doing the bare minimum of morning preparation before today's lectures.
I saw Rebecca on my way to the Edge cafe to buy a chocolate twist. I showed her my nifty enormous-hill-avoiding-shortcut; the one that is definitely my lifesaver. She certainly seemed to enjoy it, although I think she was a bit distracted today; her boyfriend was coming up from wherever he comes from. He's about to propose to her. I Cejas'd her as much as I could. Couldn't stop myself.
The lectures today were great, as always. Nagai-sensei had a few classic quotes that must be noted and worshipped:
”ナイフで・・・・・・Kill someone!"
”But,AさんはMaybe GunでKill someone."
せんせい:じゃあ、あなたはどこでたべますか?
Student:私は・・・・・・うち・・・・・・を・・・!
先生:うちを!?House can be crunchy・・・・・・
It's so great to be able to do this much Japanese again. We got the apparantly legendary pink homework and green homework, both of which I did with gusto, if I do say so myself, an hour ago. Rebecca and I went home together after our lectures. She stopped at the Stationery store for some document trays and I convinced her to come with me to Somerfield so I could buy what equates to enough snacks for a hungry army (hopefully she's not judging me too much on that :$:$). I departed wishing her good luck with her beloved. My oh my...
I think I might be the only one here at the moment. I must say I'm not the most social person, but I find I don't mind. In many ways I'm starting to enjoy my own company. It's nice to be with other people sometimes, of course, but at the moment I'm liking the whole solitude thing just as much.
Tomorrow I'm going to Meadowhall with Anna. I want to get me to Paperchase and buy a few big binders to put the year's notes in. If you're going to keep study notes, they might as well be pretty.
Huzzah!
