Post-LARP...
This is probably very pitiful on some level. But now that I'm off my convention high and I've had time to think, I really feel like I need to apologize to the character I was playing in the LARP.
The possession thing? It was kind of cool, no denying that. And Karla trying to convince Sanzo to be her champion was priceless. BUT... It should not have happened. Magical artifacts were Kurama's specialty as a thief. He just would NOT be stupid enough to pick up a known possession-inducing item without absolute proof positive that it would ONLY possess you if you put it on.
Kurama would have picked up the SUITCASE, grown a very unpleasant plant to deal with Ilpallazo, and gone out to let Sanzo do that voodoo that he does so well and destroy the tiara. Yay Maten Sutra.
The only excuse I can give is that it was the last day of things, I was tired and hyped-up from 'Wheee, convention!', and not thinking straight. Thus I did a horribly OOC action, and boy did he pay for it.
;_; My bad, and I'm very very sorry. Mea culpa, gomen nasai, and various other expressions of remorse. I fail at RP. Now hopefully the tiny corner of brainspace he lives in will go back to being relatively friendly instead of the current state of a seething jungle of man-eating plants under the control of an angry youko.
