Perceptions and Thoughts
So Mr. Jaws 'N Bones here is leaving me because I have to give him back to his owner. How sad; perhaps he shall be a guest in my home again soon. Or I might just go out and get my own hawk. Fictitiously, of course.
Now then... My life. As you can see, Gentle Reader, I have changed my background into something more fitting. I liked Jack Skellington, and I thank him for being my background, but it seemed a little gothic to some and I do not like to be taken the wrong way or misjudged.
I've made some new friends lately, gained some friends I had lost, and have been quite content. As well I have found my way back into artwork; seems I may have just needed some time and I have learned a valuable lesson. Appreciate what you have. A lesson I knew but I don't think necessarily acted upon. I have quit bashing my poetry and my artwork. I almost lost the latter.
I've neglected my writing; methinks my characters are going through some changes. My long beloved Teela has been, the inspiration for her at least, gone for a good year almost. I yearn to show people that my lovable Nightmare has a kind side; he isn't quite the freak that I've showed to others. If only, of only I could get it out. Aah well, no sense in dwelling upon things that will only rock my mind like waves to a boat.
Geez, here I am talking like some deep and thoughtful person. Fo sho I guess it be bettah dan 'talkin like dis, no? Lol, but this could be my more serious entry.
My second favorite holiday is coming up. My first favorite is Halloween, and if you know me you could have guessed, lol. But my second favorite is Valentine's Day, only because I like to see the happiness of everybody and it's an excuse for me to give people cards and candy without being looked at strangely. xD Heh.
My birthday is on the 16th of this month as well. Closer and closer still to the day I look most forward to. And 13 more days! Heh.
I've been busy but at the same time not busy. I need to update my story on LLF now that I think about it... I don't want to disappoint my readers. I'll do that later today. Give them a nice long update to make up for it. xD
Huh, what else... Been trying to find some new websites to hang out on. Lemmy's Land is great, Gaia is too huge, and DeviantArt can only be interesting when you have things to do there. Neopets will only quench my appetite for something to do for only so long, you know? So I'll be looking for something new to apply my time and thoughts too. Maybe it'll yield results, maybe not. I get fidgety sometimes.
I am doing a project in Micro Computers where I must write three letters to three of my favorite celebrities and ask them to send me an autographed item. Many people at least get a reply, and 10% don't get anything. I think I have a pretty good percentage, but we'll see. I chose: Billy Joel, Tim Burton, and Steven Tyler. Two of my favorite singers and one of my favorite film directors/ writers. It'll be cool if I get anything, even if just a reply. ^_^ If not then that's fine too.
