Updates Updates....
Hm, yes let's see. I miss Naro. I have talked with him everyday that he has been away but it just isn't the same. My bed is empty...I hate sleeping alone.
The last day of school I went to the Psychology Gala. Very interesting: undergraduates, graduates, and professors all getting smashed together. I tripped on the scale a good three times and spilled my drink on myself but considering the fact that, that was after 2 cups of a 95% EtoH (mixed with a drop of pineapple juice) and a beer, I don't think I did that bad. While Katie rubbed up against a professor for a letter of reccomendation, I schmoozed with all the grad students and was harassed by some scary maintenance man that has called me every day since the party. Why I gave him my number? Man...I am just too nice, or dumb. Anyway, we left the party after being there for a good five or so hours, went to Jasmines with some of the professors and grad students, then shipped off to Cafe Cabernet for some wine and cheese. Who should I run into there you ask? This should interest you particularly Greg, LEO! We mingled and he attempted to dance with me twice but then finally realized it was a lost cause since all I wanted to do was rub my butt up against things. Ok, wait, no. I just can't dance to nice music. No. Wait. Wrong again. I just can't dance at all. Anyway, he told me he was going to Waterworks and I said I would see him there, but then got distracted and realized too late that I had told him I would go. Went to a friends party after that, got home at 5 and then awoke with the worst hangover I have ever encountered. I think I am done with the whole Ethanol thing, I will leave that for experiments.
I am in Coral Springs right now and dying of boredom. I don't really speak with any of the people I grew up with here so have been forced to hang out with my family which is honestly not so bad. I have also had time to catch up on some well deserved rest and believe it or not, actually have time to read a book. God could it be? One Hundred Years of Solitude is my choice and so far a wise one indeed.
I am getting ready for a trip to England with the fam. We leave Christmas day and will be there through the New Year. We will be taking a train to Paris where, hopefully, I will meet up with my friend Marie who will be there for the holidays. She seemed more than willing to show us around and wants me to see how Paris nightlife compares with Tallahasse's (or doesn't for that matter). I am going to a Christmas party tomorrow put on annually by my old neighbor. I haven't been back there in two years but I really have nothing better to do.
