0530: Awaken to aid citizen who is making concerted effort to die. Thwart fate.
0730: Walk home from work.
0740-0830: Feed, water, clothe children. Wipe the Dude's nose approximately thirteen times.
0830-0915: Drive J to pre-K, return home.
0915-0930: Clean out disgusting car. Wonder if I know anyone with one of those little Bissell steamer things.
0935-1000: Drop off D's car for more recent inspection sticker than 5/08. Take D to VCU.
1000-1005: Get the Dude out of his car seat and bring him into the house.
1006: Get call from J's school nurse. He's complaining of a sore throat and has a fever of 100. Come get him.
1007: Call pediatrician to request twofer sick-child visit, get appts for 1040 and 1050.
1010: Finally off phone, go to pick up J.
1030: In nurse's office waiting to leave. If you knew I was coming to get him, why didn't you get his stuff from all the way on the other side of the school?
1040: Finish galloping across campus to retrieve backpack.
1050: At pediatrician's. J has strep, Dude has Tonsils of Doom. Get info for ENT consult.
1135: At Target to pick up ginger ale and popsicles.
1200: Drop off prescription for J.
1205: Dump lunch on coffee table for children.
Now: About to put everyone down for a nap, whether they wanna go or not.
