(no subject)
Just like any normal day would start, I woke up around 11:30 and was just doing random things on the computer and wasting my time. At 1, Shay came over and picked me up to go work out. Man...this is definitely depressing to see how much I regress after not working for about a year. *sigh.............* Now I need to start all over on my routine and work xtra hard to get it all back! Anyways~that's beside the point. So, when Shay drove me home and dropped me off...I realized one thing: my garage door won't fucking open!!!! Here's the thing with my family, we never carry house keys because we can use this password number pad thing on my garage to open it, so no one ever had to think about bringing in and out housekeys. I heard from Eric it hailed really big in the area so I figured the power went out so I called up Vinny and he said he's going to the library so I just wnet there with him at around 4.
it's amazing how much I've learned from vinny that day, I can't even list it all, but he got me opened up to some new ideas out there that's giving me quite a good motivation to work hard on. One really good thing I got yesterday was Vinny's speed reading book. Since I've always been a slow reader I hope that book will help me break 600words/min in 2~3weeks. Also there are books that teach you ways of how to keep yourself motivated towards your goal or even, actually tells you how to find a goal. It was just lots of things going on in the library and man, time just flied, we didn't even realize how late it was till the library had to close.
That night, I got Eric, Varun, Jess, Roger, Vinny and myself together and went to Fairfax trying to find some clubs. Well the first club was 21 only, and by the time we got to the 2nd club...people seemed to lost interest already so we just decided to go back to Jess's house and just drink there. We chilled. As boring as it sounds, it really was a great night hanging out with friends. I'm usually anti-chilling and always the one who wants to go out and actually do something, but last night was great, just chatting, playing cards until 5am and all of us past out (only vinny, Jess, and I were left by that point) It's definitely great.
So now I'm home from a long day and only 3 hrs of sleep...G'nite all, I'm sleeping
