I know I really went out on a limb with some of these song choices - and I'm sure that some of these selections will not please everyone. But I felt that they fit the circumstances of the story. I love Sarah Brightman and was so happy to be able to use her songs in a fanmix for the first time! And I loved both versions of "A Nightingale Sang In Barkley Square". The upbeat version by Bobby Darin and the beautiful, romantic version by Vera Lynn, who is still alive at age 90!
Have you ever heard the Glenn Miller version? I always liked it for Jack, because they used so much Glenn Miller music when they introduced his character in Doctor Who.
I'm not sure if I have - but will look for that. I bet it is an instrumental version. All Glenn Miller music was really special - in a class by itself. I need to see more of Doctor Who - it has been a very long time!
Actually, its not instrumental. If I remember, I'll try to upload it later for you today. I don't have time now, but I'll try later. Its very good. I like it a lot.
Great job :)
