tfw you read a comment on someone else's fic disregarding ur own fic [loud laughingcrying noises] but today im here 2 talk abt books
reaction pic relevant bc i went for a booksale (big bad wolf booksale in malaysia! biggest annual booksale we have! it's amazing i wanna go again i didn't get enough books this yr) and bought a whole bunch of books including a boxset that includes a biography of the beatles (also my fave biography of the beatles because it's the philip norman one and i've read it and loved it and now i own it) and the same boxset comes with biographies of bob dylan, the rolling stones, jimi hendrix, and the lead singer of the mamas & the papas (disregarded slightly bc i don't listen to the ms&ps so oh well it was a good offer u kno)
and i also got catch-22! a highschool friend of mine read the book last yr and recced it but i could never find a cheap copy anywhere around so it was my chance!!!! n i took it yes it was only rm8 so basically like usd2.50 like this is why i love booksales i bought ten books n only spent like fifty bucks life is so good
they had classics in a corner so i picked up a v.s. naipaul essay collection (bc well, lit student and my lecturer goes on and on abt how amazing naipaul is) (so i got it) (just for light reading) and they had a special rm5 sale for the bedside baccalaureate (this one i regret!!!! because i only bought the first edition and not the second one fuckdammit) and i also got another chinese history book (because i'm a history sucker) (i love chinese history) (don't ask me why) (actually you could ask but idk whether my answer would even be legible)
and then i got a notebook. huzzah. now i have a thing 2 take notes in yes good v good thing it's a rly pretty notebook! the paper is pretty but the illustration on the cover is badass (it's a motorcycle) (motorcycles r badass ok don't argue w/ me on this)
