I can honestly say that this was one of the best weekends that i have had.
Friday night i just chilled out and watched the Jacksonville men's side play UF. pretty tight.
Saturday was game day.
We got our asses beat i think maybe 30+ to 5.
All in all we played a very decent game. We did well for a first year team. I got laid out on the first kickoff of the 2nd half. But i was in the air, and you aren't allowed to hit in the air.... but whatever.
(thanx to all of you niggas that came to support a gook: troy, matt, jay gook jay, kattie, chelsea, marf, christina, lenore, mindy, etc. etc.)
Then we hit up Thee Imperial for our drink up (we got the place to ourselves until about 6). it was tight, chillin out, grubbin, everybody drinkin berr. I was then joined with Lenore and Mindy. Then everybody mingled, drank more berr, and sang some rugby songs.
Then it was time to give out Man of the Match.
It was me. I honestly never thought i would get such an award. But unbelievably i did. Man of the Match is just not also a title and award, but an honor to represent your team in a race. UCF picks a man of the match also. so me and the other guy had a race by chugging a beer. whoever finished first put the cup on their head, signaling the other person to dump whatever they had left on their head.
Of course... I lost. This was probably the first beer i have had in who knows how long. But I had a great time. Then chelsea and troy showed up, but at the time where things were winding down.
After Thee Imperial, we hit the streets of downtown and went to the Burrito Gallery. We chilled out, ate, they drank.. had a grand ole time.
Anywho... Thanks again to all who came out and supported a gook... really... thank you...
I hope you all will come out and support next season when we are actually going to kick some ass....
