i think that the best conversationalist is one that makes you truly want to talk. Many people search for themselves in a game of hide and seek and sadly some are eternaly "it". There is no glory in war, there is only a desperate wish when everybodies brother is in battle. The enduring hope is that you don't recieve any telgrams informing of his death and if you do your only last hope is grim and real,...'i hope he didn't suffer'.
It's interesting how we care so much about a split second in time. And as human activiteis intermesh and intergrate, the split tenth of a second will matter just as much. But it isn't silly, this preoccupation with small time units. One thing late or early can disrupt everything around it, the disturbance runs out in bands like the waves from a dropped stone in a quiet pool.
