Chapel Hill: very picture heavy
Well this leg of the trip was not nearly as fun as Asheville.
We left Asheville and got to Chapel Hill at around 1pm. We had planned on doing the Planetarium, an arboretum and a botanical garden. We thought the Planetarium would take up most of the day. I found out once within Chapel Hill that the Planetarium was closed the entire week. We still did the Arboretum and the botanical garden but that didnt take very long and were all within the UNC Chapel Hill campus which we didnt realize so we saw that too. We ended up leaving Chapel Hill around 4ish to head to Cape Hatteras thinking Cape Hatteras would be better. We couldnt find anything else to do in Chapel Hill that we wanted to do and couldnt even find a restaurant to eat at. We may go back after some better planning but I dont know. I was trying not to plan too too much due to how many hours Brian was driving and didnt know the full timing of it.
