RANTING

So, I feel a rant session is in order, here's why:

Drumline...we start working on our music, and Rich of course has to be all cool and obnoxious as HELL. We are trying to learn one part and he just has to start whining, why can't we double stick (bounce instead of play 2 notes) it would better, blah blah blah. No Rich, you are as strong as your weakest link partly in defense of myself knowing I would make that sound bad, as would Danny and Tim (no offense to them). So he keeps whining, and gets to a part that is marked double sticking and just whines well we should just single stroke that blah blah blah. So I said Rich just stop bitching and play the music, so of course as we all know is God of drums. So he goes what fucker? you wanna talk to me about it? You do, blah blah blah I'm an idiot basically. Then Sarah gets in on it for no reason, yes Sarah you are good, we know. So they just stop playing all together, and when we ask them why they claim we are listening...ok...then leave? Because we don't need your here whining if you aren't gonna play, so just leave. So they stand there and whine and whine and then just stop talking. So we get a little bit done. Awesome, thank you for ruining the day because you can't grow up and play as a GROUP, because Drumline is definitely not 2 people. I don't get why people have to be all about themselves? Just play the damned music the best you can, play it how it's written, and don't whine when you are asked to get on task. But hey, that's just what I have learned as a musician, and they are better than me?

PS

Would you rather hear Drumline sound good, or try and double stick a part and sound like crap? Who honestly goes OMG! That double sticking was AWESOME! I mean you sounded like crap, but OMG! OR Wow, you guys played it all the same and it sounded awesome!!! I think I like number 2...but arrogant people prefer 1, I love it, people just can't be team players
