20's not that old is it?

It's the end of my birthday, and it was good. Doug sang to me at 12:00 am then we went to bed. My dad called me at 8:45 because he wanted to be the first to wish me a happy day, (I didn't tell him Doug did since he was the first since I'd woken up). I let Doug sleep in a little longer then I made him get up so he could make me foods. There was much yummy-ness. He made me waffles, hash browns, hot chocolate (our air conditioners are up REALLY high) and served me orange juice and for breakfast-dessert, donut holes. Mmmmmm.... The cool part was he served it too me on brand new dishes. I was sad cause we didn't have matching dishes or any real bowls, so he got me a bright orange pattern. They're awesome. To eat with, we used brand new "flatware". Oh yes, they're so nice they get deemed flatware. They have a friggin 30 year warranty... They look like sterling silver bamboo. Doug did all the dishes and cleaned my kitchen for me too. Yay. My mom called a little later and sang to me and asked me to come visit her so she could give me presents... I could not refuse. My dad had to go out of town so she gave me his and an IOU for hers and Michael is taking me to get his gift on Thursday. So it's like an extended birthday. My dad gave me a giftcard for a very large undisclosed amount so that I could get the curtains I've been wanting for my place. He also gave me an automatic bubble blower and really nice Winnie the Pooh coloring books. My dad is awesome. I got many well wishes including a call from Sara, (don't let them take your teeth!!) which made me feel nice.

The best part of the day was when Doug made me dinner. He made me an entire meal from scratch. Egg drop soup, and sweet & sour meatballs w/rice. He made the sweet & sour sauce, and it was soooo tasty. It had stuff like bamboo shoots in it. I felt all worldly. We drank it w/honey green tea. Then for desert, stewed apples & ice cream. So many tasties!!! Then he rubbed me. It was a good day. :D
