buburubuList seven songs you are into right now, no matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your LiveJournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.
1. "The Sisters of Mercy" by Leonard Cohen. The dude's actually pretty cool, and I'm only just getting into his music. I like this one.
2. "Pistolero" by Juno Reactor. Not usually a big techno fan, but this one has some pretty awsome guitar bits and a good sound to it.
3. "Watershed" by the Indigo Girls. Lately I've been listening to some music that dad always used to play on long car trips when I was a wee lad. This one is still pretty decent.
4. "Graceland" by Paul Simon. Ditto. This one I even appreciate in new ways since I looked up the lyrics. Been hearing it since I was, like, ten, and I finally understand what he was saying.
5. "That's the way" by Led Zepplin. Kind of a softer song, but I've been liking it a lot lately. That is all.
6. "The Prophet's Song" by Queen. Really dramatic and cool, with this spooky vocal bit near the end. Also, Bohemian Raphsody, while good, is overrated and overplayed. An irrelevant point, I know, but some things just have to be said.
7. "Shadow of a Doubt," the evil theme music from Escaflowne, because it's some of the best damn evil theme music I've heard. Neat interactions between instruments.
