I went to see someone who was speaking at the university last night. And that person was none other than STEPHEN FUCKING HAWKING! That's right, the guy who developed many new approaches to figuring out how the universe was created. And the guy's pretty funny. I mean, who knew?
Actually I think the lecture was good for me in more ways than one. It kind of reminded me why I'm actually trying to do what I'm trying to do. There's a real sense of wonder to the whole thing. I wonder if that's how people who go to church feel when they go to church.
In other news, I went down to Santa Barbara last weekend to see my cousin in a production of Fiddler on the Roof, and that was pretty awsome. She was playing Hotl (Or however you spell it), who's the middle daughter. Well, of the importatnt ones. Okay, it was a seventh/eigth grade performance, but it was still pretty damn well done.
I also got to go see a Tamayo exhibit at a gallery there. If you haven't heard of him Wiki him, or whatever it is you crazy kids do these days. He actually is a pretty awsome artist.
