Alright, so I guess people have been noticing that I haven't updated in awhile. I just haven't had much to say. Ah, well, I'll give it a try anyways.
So, it's finals week, and my last final (or, dare I say it, my final final) is on monday. Yay. So then I'm coming home for awhile. Then I'm going up north for a week to see family. Then I'll be home for awhile again. Then back to school. I just can't get used to this whole, "needing to study," thing.
A couple weeks ago I got the chace to see Adam Healton and Madalyn Covey play some music. It was cool seeing the both of them again, and they put on a fairly good show. So that was fun. Then it was school, school, school.
I finished my lit final the day before yesterday. I'm proud of how I did, especially considering that I didn't read one of the books and skimmed a lot of the others, including the one that fully two thirds of the final was based on. I'm so glad to be over with that course. Don't get me wrong, I love and am good at lit courses, but that one sucked noodles. We only read a few good books, and that last book we had to read was some postmodern pseudophilisophical bull. (Not that I dislike postmodernism in literature per se, this guy was just a very pretensious postmodern writer. Pretensiousness and postmodernism don't go together well.)(I do, however, dislike pseudophilosophy per se.)
Speaking of postmodernism, Stranger Than Fiction was a terrific movie, the best I've seen in awhile. Heck, I already want to see it again.
Candy is good.
